Douglas Fairbanks Jr. wrote, produced and stars as 17th-century British monarch Charles Stuart, who's been exiled to Holland, where he goes into hiding at the farm of an attractive young Dutch woman when he learns he's been targeted for assassination by followers of the reigning Oliver Cromwell.
