MPLC is a global company that issues licenses for public screenings of films and other audiovisual content in Hong Kong, derived from home video media (such as DVDs, Blu-rays, files, etc.). A public screening license is required for events, whether access is free or paid.

To organize a film festival or cineforum in Hong Kong, you must request authorization for each individual screening (Event License). Unlike the Umbrella® License, this license allows you to advertise the scheduled titles, for example, on brochures, posters, websites, social networks, press releases, etc., and/or charge an entry fee.
