Deadpool is now happily forgotten as Wade Wilson tries to live an ordinary but more peaceful life. However, things are upended when the Time Variance Authority forces him on a mission to save his home universe from destruction. Donning the Deadpool identity again, he finds Wolverine to hopefully help him. But Deadpool's first real mission is to convince an embittered Wolverine that the universe is worth saving.
