In this profound sci-fi drama, an astrophysics student (Brit Marling) accidentally kills several people in a car accident. After serving four years in prison, she is released and tries to atone for the tragedy by joining an expedition to a new planet called Earth 2, an alternate version of our planet which contains the same people living different lives.
